HOW YOU CAN REACH OUR HOTEL
By bus (from the railway station)
As we are situated up on the Sorrento hills, in a quiet area at 6 km of distance from Sorrento center, you need to take a bus to reach us.
You will need to board the Sita bus going to the village of Sant’Agata. There are 2 lines going to S’Agata: they are called “Sant’Agata Via Nastro Verde” and “Sant’Agata Via Massalubrense”. You will need to board the Sant’Agata Via Nastro Verde bus.
Ask the driver man to let you get off at Hotel Residence Le Terrazze. This stop is on request only, so it’s important that you ask the driver man to stop you.
In italian you would ask:
“Puo’ farci scendere alla fermata del Residence Le Terrazze per piacere?” (“Can you please let us get off at the stop for Residence Le Terrazze?”)
Buy tickets of Euro 1,00 (per person one way) available in tobacconists or in newspapers and they are valid if clipped by the machine on the bus.
Otherwise, you can take a taxi.If you do it, make sure to show at the driver man the esact address:there are other properties called “Le Terrazze” and he might take you to the wrong one.
NOTE: Taxi here are quite expensive.
By car
HOW TO REACH HOTEL RESIDENCE LE TERRAZZE BY CAR.
From Rome you need to take highway A1 to Naples.
From Naples highway A3 called Salerno-Reggio Calabria, and then take the exit to Castellammare di Stabia and drive along the SS145 to Sorrento.
From Naples, follow the signs “Penisola Sorrentina” and drive along the SS145 road. You will reach the village of Meta di Sorrento. You will see the Cathedral of St.Maria del Lauro on the left-hand side. Keep driving on the main road (whose name is Corso Italia) for approximately 4 kilometers and you will arrive to Sorrento.(about 15-20 minutes)
Proceed along the road, until you leave the center of the town and reach a large intersection, where the road splits and you can go uphill towards Massalubrense. At this intersection you will also see a restaurant, on your left. Take the uphill road on the left, called VIA NASTRO VERDE road and proceed up towards the hill for approximately 6 km. On your left you should see a sign for “Residence Le Terrazze”.
