Cortina is 72 km away from the town of Belluno, about 160 km from Venice �coming from the South - 40 km from the Austrian border � Prato Drava, to the north, - and 110 km from the Brennero Pass.

Directions / Driving instructions

By car: The nearest motorway exits are: A27-Belluno to the south (72 km) and A-22 Bressanone to the north (87 km). Driving from south, Cortina d�Ampezzo can be conveniently reached on motorway A27 from Mestre to Pian de Vedoia (Belluno) connected to the national road 51 of Alemagna. It takes about 2 hours from Mestre. On the north, from A22 Exit at Bressanone, take the road to Dobbiaco. From Bressanone exit to Cortina it takes about 1 hour. By rail: Cortina can also be reached by train. If you prefer this means of transport, the main railway line is Venezia S.Lucia � Calalzo di Cadore, then transfer to Cortina by a connected bus service . Often, the railway line Padova-Calazo is used by travellers coming from the north-west of Italy (Milan). Information on timetables and prices can be viewed on the website: trenitalia.
