 Very close to Trinita' de' Monti, Piazza di Spagna and Via Veneto, wellknown landmarks of Rome downtown. From the historical point of view - just like the wisteria that, growing up from the first floor, touches the roof - the Hotel Internazionale is rooted in a series of constructions which are dating back to the epoch of Sixtus the Fifth, in the 16th century, but raised on the remains of buildings belonging to the "Horti Luculliani" of the 1st century b.C.. Many of these structures are still visible thanks to the cares have been taken over them during the renovation of the building - Hotel since 1870 - meeting at the same time all the requirements of most modern hotel tecnique. From the Internazionale's terrace, the rooftops of Rome often mingle with the red colors of the sunset, wich forms a unique sweet and melancholy Baroque frame when souls are softened and open to verbal expression and intimacy.
Situato nel pieno centro di Roma, a pochi passi da Trinita' de' Monti, Piazza di Spagna e Via Veneto. Storicamente, l'Albergo Internazionale affonda le sue radici, come quelle del suo glicine che si innalza fino ai tetti, in un insieme di costruzioni risalenti all'epoca di Sisto V (XVI sec.), a loro volta fondate su edifici che appartennero agli "Horti Luculliani" del I sec. a.C. Molte di queste strutture sono ancora visibili, essendo state oggetto di amorevole cura nelle opere di adattamento della costruzione - albergo dal 1870 - alle piu' moderne necessita' dettate dalla tecnica dell'ospitalita'. Dalla terrazza dell'Internazionale i tetti di Roma si confondono nel rosso di certi tramonti formando un'unica cornice barocca e malinconica in cui l'animo s'addolcisce e si apre alla confidenza e all'intimità.
