This is a seaside village and tourist resort on the Amalfi coast, 10 km from Positano and situated on an elevation leading to Cape Sottile. Together with Marina di Praia and Vettica Maggiore it is a popular seaside resort with a beach enclosed by steep cliffs. A short distance from the town, the coast crosses the Furore valley which is a deep precipice falling steeply from the edge of the Agerola plateau.
