  I will be traveling to Milan in the near future and would like to take my notebook computer so that I can communicate back to the US via Email. What adapters do I need to connect to the electrical plugs and phone jacks(my computer power supply can use 240vac. I am looking for model numbers and manufacturer information. Can these adapters be purchased over the internet??

  I am planning to travel to Italy after October 15, I will be traveling alone, using trains and buses in Italy, starting in Milan to Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, Rome. Any advise to a single woman traveler? What should I expect wheather wise? Thanks

  I'm leaving on 9/9/99 for two weeks, hitting the exact destinations you've mentioned except Milan, traveling solo. Using Rick Steve's as a guide & advice from my friends who've been to Italy. Will let you know of my experience, if interested, after I return.

  Hello My friend grows basil for a supermarket and both of us want to go to Italy in the basil harvest season and visit basil farms etc to see the harvesting. Do you know WHEN the harvest season is? And I also want addresses of places to visit to see the basil growing & being harvested & made into pesto. I look forward to some information. Cheers

  How do you use pre-paid phone cards to call the US from Europe? Does every card work, or must you have a card with international access? MCI and AT&T calls are so expensive.

  We stayed two weeks at campsite "Bahaia Domizia" Every evenning we have "enjoyed" the music and the sreaming of the dj until 4 0'clock . This disco is just outide the campsite.If you are planning to go there don't !!!

  When traveling around in a rented car, where is it safe to park outside big cities, Rome and Florence, etc., that would also provide train or shuttle into the city centers? Airports seem likely, but is there overnight parking available there?
