9/20/99 Travel to the lakes of Lombardia (Eric Mirovski)
I'm planning an 8 days tour around the lakes of Lombardia (Lago Di Garda, Como and Maggiore), Venezia and the region, during October. Can you help me please by telling details about the weather, especially near the Italy-Swiss border? Will it be too much for such a tour to try to visit Firenze too?
9/27/99 Re:Travel to the lakes of Lombardia (Mauro)
The weather will be cold, but not too much: of course on mountains in Swiis it'll be... For Florence i think is possible: by train or car...bye If you need some reservation or car service contact me.
9/28/99 Re:Travel to the lakes of Lombardia (Carlos Mercado)
I am also looking at going around the lakes of lombardia end-October. Please tell me how your trip goes. Also, thinking of checking out Genoa-Nervi area. Heard it's a great place to relax - with spectacular views of the sea. Would like to hear any feedback/suggestions on Nervi.

  9/4/99 Re:Soccer (Mary)
My husband and I stayed in Siena at Jolly Hotel that was next to a beautiful municipal soccer field. Our room overlooked the field and one night there was a game. It was very interesting to watch from our room. The colors were so vibrant on the field and in that lovely city.
