Il Columbus Sea Hotel è stato costruito nel 1991 ed ha iniziato la sua attività nel febbraio del 1992.L’edificio si affaccia sul porto di Genova proprio di fronte al terminal traghetti per Sicilia,Sardegna,Corsica e Barcellona e terminal crociere.
La metà delle nostre camere ha vista sul mare così come il ristorante e la saletta per la piccola colazione. A circa un km dall’hotel si trova l’area Expo che è ricca di attrazioni : il più grande Acquario in Europa, il Bigo (ascensore panoramico da cui si domina tutta la città), il Museo Navale, la Città dei Bambini, il Centro Congressi Magazzini del Cotone ( 1.800 posti)
Il Columbus Sea mette a disposizione dei suoi Clienti, su richiesta, un servizio gratuito di "Shuttle" da e per centro e aeroporto.
Il parcheggio interno, anche questo gratuito, ha 45 posti auto e la possibilità di ospitare anche bus turistici.
80 camere, tutte con servizi, telefono diretto, aria condizionata, frigobar, tv color satellitare. Il Ristorante "La Lanterna", con vista panoramica sul porto e sulla città, offre cucina tipica genovese e internazionale.
Al primo piano saletta riservata per piccola colazione e buffet, ideale anche per cene riservate. Adiacente al ristorante, American Bar con snack, aperto tutti i giorni dalle 17.00 alle 24.00.
La Sala Riunioni " La Darsena" può ospitare fino a 90 persone.

 The Columbus Sea Hotel was built in 1992.
It stands in the Genoa harbour area, in front of the new Ferry Terminal. This is where all the ferries for Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica and Spain sail from. Half our rooms overlook the harbour and our two restaurants also face in the same direction.
The view is marvellous. It includes most of the city with its historic centre and, in the distance, the headland of Portofino. Many cruise ships sail from Genoa to visit the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean.
The cruise terminal is only one kilometre away from the hotel, and the EXPO area is at the same distance. It is full of attractions, including the famous AQUARIUM (the largest in Europe), the Shipping Museum, the Children’s City and the Congress Building with its 1800 seats.
There is a fast fly-over road near the hotel, thanks to which the Genoa International Fair and the city centre are only a few minutes away from the hotel by car. Genoa has a vast artistic heritage. The city is full of monuments and museums, set in the framework of a large old district.
What is more, the city is located at the centre of the beautiful Ligurian Riviera. To the East (Riviera di Levante) there are places such as Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Portofino and the "Cinque Terre". To the West (Riviera di Ponente) one finds Alassio, Diano Marina and San Remo with its casino.

La Lanterna Restaurant with a panoramic view over the port and over the city, offers a tipical genoese and international cooking.
On the first floor there is a reserved room for Buffet Breakfast. Ideal place also for private dinner. Near to the restaurant the American Bar & Snack is open every day from 5pm to midnight.
"La Darsena" conference room can accomodate up to 90 people.
