 Il PALAZZETTO, sito in zona collinare a 8 Km. da Padule frazione di Gubbio, è raggiungibile percorrendo una agevole strada di campagna che attraversa oltre 2000 ettari di boschi e pascoli . L’Azienda di 36 ettari è stata recentemente convertita a culture silvo boschive ed è pertanto caratterizzata dalla produzione di prodotti del sottobosco quali funghi, tartufo bianco, scorzone,ecc. L’attività agrituristica si svolge nella casa colonica la cui presunta costruzione risale alla fine 700 e che ha subito nel tempo varie ristrutturazioni. L’ultima, risalente al 1993, ha permesso di realizzare 5 appartamenti indipendenti per complessivi 15 + 4 posti letto, dotati di servizi e riscaldamento autonomi ed arredati in maniera funzionale. Trattasi di un edificio realizzato con pietra locale a vista che gli conferisce un aspetto rustico ed al tempo stesso signorile. Si affaccia sulla stupenda vallata del fiume Chiascio ed è prospiciente al Parco Naturale del Monte Cucco. Ciò consente di abbinare alla semplice vita agreste, escursioni a piedi, a cavallo ed in bicicletta. Esternamente gli ospiti possono godere della piscina, di un area attrezzata per bambini e di un “percorso vita”. A 10 Km dall’agriturismo vi è il Centro Storico di Gubbio con i suoi Palazzi medievali, le sue Chiese che vanno dal periodo Preromanico alla fine del 1400 e i suoi Musei, con le sue feste popolari ( Festa dei Ceri il 15 di Maggio, il Palio nazionale del tiro della balestra l’ultima domenica di Maggio, il palio rionale del tiro della balestra il 14 d’Agosto ), con la sua Stagione Musicale e Teatrale che si svolge nei mesi di Luglio-Agosto, con la Fiera del Tartufo che inizia il primo di Novembre, con il mercato dell’Antiquariato che si tiene la terza settimana del mese, con i negozi e le bancarelle con i prodotti artigianali e gastronomici della zona, Inoltre “Il Palazzetto” data la sua posizione consente di raggiungere agevolmente le città più rinomate dell’Umbria: Perugia ed Assisi (40 Km.), Spoleto, Todi ed Urbino (100 Km.).
 The Palazzetto is situated in the hills surrounding Gubbio, 8 Km from the village of Padule. You rich it following a smooth country road, through over 2000 hectares of woodland and pasture. The farm of 36 hectares has recently been reforrested and converted to the production of woodland foods such as mushrooms, white truffles and scorzone truffles. The holiday aspect of the farm takes place in the “Casa Colonica”. This farm house is thought to date from the end of the eighth century, although, through the ages it has undergone various renovations, the last of which was in 1993. This saw its conversion into 5 independent apartments complete with bathrooms, autonomous central heating, and functional furnishings, which together accomodate 15+4 guests. The house was built using local stone, which lends it a rustic, yet noble air. It looks out over the wonderful valley of the Chiascio river and the Natural Park of Monte Cucco. All of this enables you to succumb to the simple life; excursions on foot, by bicycle or on horse back. At the “Palazzetto” guests can enjoy the pool, a children’s play area and an established country walk. 10Km from the farmhouse lies Gubbio, with its medieval palaces, its churches which date from the pre-Roman era to the end of the fiftheenth century, its museums and its shops and stands, selling local crafts and foods. Gubbio has a rich cultural life. Annual events include the local festivals (the Festa dei Ceri, 15 May, the national crossbow competition, the last Sunday of May and the Regional Crossbow competition, 14 August); the music and theatre seasons which take place in July and August; the Truffle fair, that starts 1 Novembre, and the Antiques Market, held on the third week of every month. “Il Palazzetto” is also well placed for trips to the most renowned towns in Umbria: Perugia and Assisi (40 Km); Spoleto Todi and Urbino ( 100 Km).
