This converted farmhouse dates back to the 13th century when it was a fortified monastery and a resort for pilgrims on the Francigena Road. The apartments with separate entrances benefit one of the most enviable views in Tuscany: rolling hills decked with wines and olives, crowned by the incredible profile of San Gimignano. Apart San Gimignano and Certaldo wich are few kms by crow flight, you can reach in less than an hour's drive other jewels in Tuscany's crown like Florence, Siena and Volterra.
